(SPOKANE, WA) Indie Rock band The Incandescent is preparing to release its third studio project Undiscovered on Sept 5th 2016. Enlisting an all-star ensemble of contributing talent, Undiscovered is truly a collaborative effort that will encourage listeners to love life, family, & God wholeheartedly.
Band members set out to spearhead the recording process in their rehearsal space turned demo studio to start crafting the sounds and ideas that eventually became the outline of Undiscovered.
The band called upon David Sim’s Quad-Rocker Studios to help in the production of the new project and realize its potential. They’ve also enlisted the help of Nashville based producer & mix engineer Evan Sieling (Ryan Stevenson) (Becca Bradley) (Karyn Williams) to construct the final mix and sonic character of the record.
Lyrically, the songs originate from the bands experiences traveling the US & their native Northwest.
Band frontman Andrew McArdle says “This is a real coming of age record for us as the band has grown immensely since our last record. We’ve become husbands, fathers, and our roots at home run deep. You have to really believe in what you’re singing to leave loved ones behind and pursue the calling!” The band reflects that during these life-changing moments God has been molding & teaching them more about His faithfulness through the times of uncertainty. They hope that people can hear the themes of family, faith, & free-spirits in this new record.
These themes are evident on tracks such as “Home” and “Skylines” the latter speaking to the journey that we all inevitably face with the struggle of past regrets. “Rambler” is a free-spirited track that reminds us that as beautiful as this life is, we’re all just “Ramblers” passing through.
Undiscovered will be available via iTunes and other select digital music outlets. Hard copies will be available on the bands website upon release.
